An engaging activity holds the attention of the participant, an engaging activity helps connect residents to their surroundings by bridging the gap between their reality and ours. Stepping “in” to a resident’s reality and creating the right activity at the right time of day and matching the engagement level to their individual abilities can lead to a sense of accomplishment and well-being. Our professional staff encourage residents to participate in meaningful events throughout the day and offer off-site activities weekly.

Activity Variety

Participation is always a choice, by offering a variety of activities throughout the day, residents have the freedom to choose which activities they participate in. Residents are presented with set activities in each “time zone” and offered alternate options to meet their individuality. We understand that not everyone will enjoy doing Yoga and Sittercise in the morning or painting and bingo in the afternoon and offer additional options such as an invigorating game of bowling with our indoor bowling set, strolling walks through our beautiful courtyard and relaxing poetry readings or reminiscing one on one in the afternoons.
