Visiting Hours

Patients may receive visitors 7 days a week from 5:30pm to 6:30pm. The Geriatric Behavioral Health unit is dedicated to maintaining the safety for patients and visitors at all times. For everyone’s safety, we request only 2 visitors for each patient at any time. Children must be 13 years of age or older to visit. Upon entrance to the unit, you will be asked to check in. At this time, you will need to sign in and unit staff will check any belongings you have brought for the patient. If a different visiting time is needed, please speak to the unit nurse or social worker.

VISITORS WILL NOT BE PERMITTED TO BRING PERSONAL BAGS, PURSES, COATS, CELL PHONES, COMPUTERS, OR BACKPACKS ONTO THE UNIT.

We have provided lockers to secure your personal belongings prior to entrance onto the unit.

Wash your hands when you get here and before you leave—we don’t want you to take any germs with you. Please don’t come to visit if you feel sick. You may spread your germs to your loved one or others.

Any family member or friend suspected of passing contraband to the patient will be escorted off the unit by our security staff, will be prohibited from future visitation and may be prosecuted. Threatening/disorderly conduct will not be tolerated on the unit.
